HONIARA, Solomon Islands (AP) -Lorenzo Tehau scored four goals, including three in a three-minute span in the second half, as Tahiti thrashed Samoa 10-1 in the opening match of the Oceania Nations Cup football tournament Friday.

Four members of the Tehau family shared nine goals as Tahiti made an emphatic start to the eight-nation tournament, which also serves as the second round of Oceania qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.

Lorenzo's twin brother Alvin scored twice, as did older brother Jonathan. Teoanui Tehau replaced Alvin in the 53rd minute and took only a minute to add his name to the scoresheet.

Lorenzo Tehau scored Tahiti's first goal in the eighth minute, then added their eighth, ninth and 10th in the 83rd, 84th and 85th minutes.
