There are a multitude of apps available for your mobile devices.? Some are useful.? Some are entertaining.? And, some are both.? There are just too many to be able to try them all.? I discover new apps all the time by reading about them online, having a friend suggest one, or from being so bored that I find myself scouring the seemingly endless pages of apps for something new.
So, in hopes that you will find at least one of these apps useful or entertaining, here are five apps I recently discovered and enjoy.
Out of Milk is an app for managing lists.? I downloaded this app because I needed this app. ?Too often I would go to the store and leave with less than I had intended to get.? Not anymore!? What?s great about Out of Milk is it can be as simple or as detailed as you need it to be.? You can manage your lists online or on your phone and both lists will update in real-time.

If you ever find yourself looking through your cabinets and refrigerator over and over, trying to find something to make with the ingredients you have, or you just want some fresh new recipes, then Gojee is the app for you!? Gojee recommends top-quality food and drink recipes from over 200 of the world?s best bloggers.? It also has a fantastic feature that allows you to find recipes based on the ingredients you have available to you! Just input what you have and it will find a recipe for you.

Sticking with the food and drink theme, this next app is for the beer lover.? Untappd is a social drinking app.? Basically, it helps you find the beer that you like at a bar near you and allows you to snap pictures, comment, and share it with you friends? ?and the world.? Untappd will suggest new beer to you based on what you and your friends like.? Looking at your friends? profile will show you what they?ve been drinking and where.

Skitch makes pictures more fun.? With the app, you can snap a picture and edit it with shapes, comments, and doodles and then share them.? Give your grandmother a(nother) moustache.? Show your best friend how he really would look so much better with an eye patch and a parrot on his shoulder.? Anything you like.? Skitch is your canvas.

This app is pretty robust so I have barely scratched the surface here.? But, it has a lot to offer.? Field trip runs in the background on your phone and sends you notifications about cool, hidden, or unique things in the world around you.?? When you are near something interesting, a card pops up on your screen with information about it.? It will help you learn about the local history, find the best places to eat and have fun, and send you deals for shopping nearby.? Field Trip can even tell when you are driving and read the information to you.? There are a ton more features?. Go check them out for yourself!
